Violence against women and girls is an epidemic.

The time for rhetoric is over, the time for action is now.

If violence against women and girls is as high a priority as terrorism, then we need to see action.

We are urging Priti Patel to explicitly include domestic abuse, domestic homicide and sexual violence – which are disproportionately experienced by women and girls –  in the definition of 'serious violence' as part of the Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Bill.
