This Christmas, send a message of support to a woman staying in a refuge

Hundreds of women and their children will be waking up on Christmas morning in our 65 refuges across the country. They will have left behind their world – home, family, friends, to prioritise their safety and the safety of their children. It will be a time of anxiety as they face the reality of having to start again.

Yet this will also be their first Christmas of freedom where mum and child can simply be together, without constant worry and fear. With your support we can make them feel less alone. Warm festive wishes and messages of solidarity can help a woman know she is supported.
